The Folly at Towcester was named Restaurant of the Year at the annual Carlsberg Food and Drink Awards. In a closely fought competition, the Folly beat off competition from a line-up of top county restaurants, including the Tap & Kitchen at Oundle which was named runner-up. The award was once again sponsored by Whitco.

Our picture shows Whitco commercial director Vita Whitaker with Robert and David of the Folly with their awards which were presented by Sophie Grigson and William Sitwell. It was double celebration for The Folly because it also won the award for customer service.
