Planned maintenance (sometimes called planned preventative maintenance or PPM) keeps your appliances running longer, better and more efficiently. PPM makes sense because maintenance work goes on while the equpment or asset is still operating. That way, your equipment keeps working for you, paying back your initial investment. The result is no downtime and no lost costs.
Maintenance is scheduled, based on a time or usage. Time-based preventative maintenance applies to things like air conditioners which may be serviced every year, before summer. Aircraft are serviced regularly based on the time they spend in the air. A car being serviced every 10,000 or 20,000 miles is a typical example of an asset with a usage-based preventative maintenance schedule.
Keeping your commercial kitchen assets in good condition and fault-free is no different to the care needed for any piece of vital agreement. Down-time is not an option. We offer a full PPM programme that helps to protect your bottom line.
