Recently, we hosted a Hot Holding Testing Day with industry experts Simon Callus and Rob Gibson from Commercial Catering Products, Bradley Creese and Richard McKay from Electrolux Professional, Scott Taylor from Pro Foodservice Reps and Jake Hewison and Robert Edwards from Unox.
When food is held for service, collection or delivery, both quality and food safety must be maintained. During our Supplier Day, Chef Kamil prepared a sandwich to test how best we could keep it hot for longer without compromising its quality. This hands-on test allowed us to explore the effectiveness of different heat retention solutions.
