Our Customer Experience Centre is a working example of a commercial kitchen and restaurant, designed to showcase our solutions to help you make the best decisions.

The essential purpose of designing and building our Customer Experience Centre was to provide the members of the WhitCo team with a dedicated space where they could develop their skills and expertise beyond the supply and installation of commercial kitchen equipment and restaurant furniture.

The Experience Centre creates a delightful experience for customers that exceeds their own expectations and allows them to Touch, Test, Taste and Talk about all that is on display and beyond. The space is not only visually appealing, but also inviting and in tune with customer preferences.

We gutted, redesigned and transformed thousands of square feet of office and warehouse space into a multi-functional experience that includes a 60-cover restaurant, a multi-purpose bar/cafe, a business meeting room, a members-only club and a shop stocked with tableware, chef and cook essentials and a selection of Made In Northampton foods. The Taste Restaurant, Cafe & Bar showcases all aspects of our capabilities, from design and build to interior design and styling. Our vibrant dining space offers a delightful selection of locally crafted Made In Northampton food and beverages. It also provides a live demonstration of diverse seating options, tables, styles, and lighting. Explore and compare to envision the perfect elements for your own establishment.

Everything you can touch and see.

In addition to locally produced and sourced Made in Northampton food and drink, this fully functional dining room offers a wide range of seating, tables, styling and lighting for you to sample and compare, enabling you to decide what would work best in your own premises. The restaurant is also a display in itself, from design and construction to interior. Everything you can touch and see is there to assist you in creating your individual restaurant space and dining experience. We will also hold manufacturer and supplier days to showcase our new and innovative ideas to customers.

Cafe & Bar

The stylish café & bar features an iconic design, a state-of-the-art espresso machine and again can be easily configured to the requirements of service.

Dining Area

Located close by the Test Kitchen, the dining area serves as a fully functioned dining room, featuring a multiplicity of choices in seating, tables, and lighting for customers to sample and compare.

Third-Party Hire

The venue is available for third-party hire in the evenings and at weekends for members of the public, clubs, community groups, businesses, and associations, with food and drink supplied as required by Chef Kamil Podgorski.

Where upcycled treasures meet alfresco feasts.

The dedicated entrance is approached through a bamboo fringed outside café area that showcases alfresco dining as well as the styling capabilities of Lucia Whitaker, whose responsibilities include upcycling customers’ own furnishings and fittings, as well as interior styling with custom requests for internal decoration, such as antiques and collectibles. Recent acquisitions for restaurant props have been as varied as a streetlight and a 1960s bike.

Showroom Access Policy

Please be advised that access to WhitCo premises is restricted to individuals aged 18 and above unless prior consent has been obtained. This policy is in place to ensure a safe and suitable environment for all visitors. Additionally, kindly note that for safety reasons, prams and similar items are not permitted in our showroom areas.
