We’re proud to share that two of our directors, Carmela Webb and Tony Butler, have received major recognition from the International Hospitality Council (IHC) and the International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) for their contributions to the industry.
🎖 Carmela Webb, Director of Equipment Sales & Service, has been awarded the IHC-IIHM Woman Achievers Award 2025. A driving force at WhitCo for over 25 years, Carmela was recognised for her inspiring leadership, dedication to client success, and her role in shaping our ‘customer delight’ culture.
🎖 Tony Butler, Managing Director, was named Innovator of the Year, in recognition of his groundbreaking work in R&D and re-engineering for the UK’s prison catering sector. His expertise and leadership helped deliver a new-build prison kitchen project that achieved a BREEAM Excellent rating—a first for the UK.
Both awards were announced during International Hospitality Day, marking a special moment not only for our team but also for our shared industry. We’re grateful to the IHC and IIHM for the recognition—and proud to see the WhitCo Way celebrated on the global stage.
